Job Description

Product Manager (Customer Focus)

Required Skills

  • Engineer with Business Masters / MBA, 7+ years experience (Senior - 10+ years)
  • At least 3+ years experience as a Product Manager using Agile Product Development and translate customer / biz reqs into flows & tech requirements; write “epic” user storie
  • Banking / Financial services / accounting / B2B; preferable having worked in a Bank (e.g. as a Bank product supplier)
  • Have worked in / understand the B2B space and particularly the financial services ecosystem and understand how Finance Teams priorities & operations
  • Understand payments and credit; needs, use cases, journeys, players, challenges, opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and influence what can be shipped quick and dirty and what is worth investing significantly more development time on

( Preferable ) experience related to one of the more advanced Accounting/ERP Systems - NetSuite/ Microsoft

Dynamics / SAP Business One / Sage etc

  • Responsibilities
    • Translate the company and product vision into customer outcomes, problems to be solved, features to be developed and jobs to be done
    • Run the e2e product management process in order to ideate, prototype, develop and iterate outcomes and

resulting features

  • Develop a first-hand, expert understanding of our Customers, their Problems and desired Outcomes; lead the customer research agenda in order to achieve this prior to MVP launch; work hand-in-hand with Sales and Customer Success teams post MVP launch
  • Own, craft and evolve user personas and associated user journeys; link these to desired outcomes and resulting features
  • Be an expert on competition across the landscape but most importantly on their core focus areas; ensure that best-in-class competitors and the way they drive customer outcomes are always incorporated in our ideation phase
  • Develop MRDs and PRDs with key hypotheses, customer outcomes, problems to be solved, prioritized features

and corresponding justification

  • Manage the roadmap and backlog; develop best-in-class epics and user stories and work hand-in-hand with engineering in order to deliver the product features and desired customer outcomes
  • Work closely with product marketing and customer engagement to inform and help shape the value proposition

as well as define product reqs where required

Product Manager (Technical Focus)

Required Skills

  • Engineer with Development Background / Masters degree preferable / 7+ years experience
  • Strong technical acumen / expertise / experience
  • At least 3+ years experience as a Product Manager using Agile Product Development and translate customer / biz reqs into flows & tech requirements; write “epic” user stories
  • Experience in working with third parties, evaluating options, mapping out integration plans
  • Experience in data, machine learning / AI, architectural design and decision making
  • Can conduct competitive analysis, focussing on technical aspects given deeper understanding of how products actually work
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and influence what can be shipped quick and dirty and what is worth investing significantly more development time on

( Preferable ) experience related to one of the more advanced Accounting/ERP Systems - NetSuite/ Microsoft

Product Manager - Payments and Credit products

  • Required Skills
    • Worked in Banking, Financial services, Payments Company, Fintech
    • Have worked in / understand the B2B space and particularly the financial services ecosystem
    • Have worked as a Product Manager or equivalent for 8-10 years
    • Have worked in / with B2B payments products and understand needs, use cases, journeys, players, challenges, opportunities and how the market is evolving
    • Big plus if they have experience in credit risk, credit products, credit cards, lending products (e.g. lines of credit), credit underwriting
    • Have a strong product management toolkit and are customer obsessed, can independently follow a structured product management process and solve problems that deliver great customer outcomes
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with engineering
    • Demonstrated ability to understand and influence what can be shipped quick and dirty and what is worth investing significantly more development time on
    • Desirable - experience related to one of the more advanced Accounting/ERP Systems - NetSuite/ Microsoft Dynamics / SAP Business One / Sage etc
  • Responsibilities
    • Responsible for owning and executing Centime’s payments and credit products strategy
    • Responsible for designing, testing and validating, iterating, building and evolving Centime’s payments and credit products
